Description Aims and Objectives

Relate Guernsey is a national registered charity with over 60 years experience in helping people with relationships

 

Relate’s vision is a future inwhich healthy relationships form the heart of a thriving society


Relate can provide counselling for you and your partner or for you on your own. RelateGuernsey can also help with relationship counselling for Health conditions.
Relate can help if you are having problems and want to work them out, or if you want to separate, or if your relationship has ended.
Counsellors are carefully selected and trained by Relate to a nationally recognised standard. They receive continuing support and supervision and have access to a range of professional consultants. In this way consistently high standards are maintained

Organisation and Management

Each Relate centre is an independent organisation, which is registered as a charity in its own name. All the centres are affiliated to National Relate and abide by its standards

Relate Guernsey is a limited company with a Management Committee, answerable through the Chairman to the Board of Directors. The company also has a group of Trustees. 
Relate has a written complaints procedure and abides by the Codes of Ethics and Practice of the British Association for Counselling
Finance by donations from clients and the general public, donations from company charitable funds and from the States of Guernsey.
